2013 November, American Cancer Society - Institutional Research Grant (ASC-IRG) awarded to Kasia Rejniak for a project: "Therapeutic agent penetration in pancreatic tumors: an interdisciplinary model" in collaboration with Dr. David Morse laboratory.

 

2013 October, a review paper "Current advances in mathematical modeling of anti-cancer drug penetration into tumor tissues" by MunJu Kim, Bob Gillies and Kasia Rejniak, has been published in Frontiers in Pharmacology of Anti-Cancer Drugs.

Kasia Rejniak will give two lectures and two hands-on computer laboratories in (1) “Modeling of anticancer treatments: a 2D clonogenic assay analogue” and (2) “Modeling of anticancer treatments: a histology based model of tumor microenvironment.”
